Reaching Solutions

The Strategic Initiative:

Jeff Aldrich had an idea to create a podcast that would discuss real life issues and share perspectives from all sides of the political aisles.  After serving his country, he was disillusioned about how the media, big business and politics were affecting the democracy that he had fought hard to defend.  He invited two of his fellow veterans (Travis Eadens and DJ Malone) to join him in civil debate about what they felt were underrepresented issues and areas where normal Americans are being misled.

When they approached Mix Theory Studios with the idea, the team got to work on the concept.  We tackled everything from audience and monetization strategy to podcast design and full production of the Collective Perspective Podcast: Season 1.

Collective Perspective Podcast

The Final Outcome:

Season 1 of the Collective Perspective Podcast launched in February 2022 after a month and a half of intense podcast design “bootcamp.”  By May 2022, the crew had secured a special sponsorship from 904ward for the last five episodes of the season.

Mix Theory Studios hosted their Season Finale live event, tackling racial conversations as part of the 904ward’s Jacksonville Bicentennial Challenge of 200 race card discussions.  The event was held as their Season 1 finale at the Underbelly with special guests: Jeremy Mincey, former NFL player and film producer with Mr. Mince Productions, and Tatiana Yoguez, a human traffic victim survivor and book author of Life Outside the Game: A Sex Trafficking Testimonial.

The Collective Perspective Podcast has since incorporated as Collective Perspective Production Corp, a 501(3)(c) with a mission to unify communities and provide a gateway to help fund organizations that support victims of sex trafficking — one topic, one episode and one soul at a time.

Check out the Collective Perspective Podcast on MTSJAX.fmSeason 3 launches this week: June 5, 2024.  This season will tackle hot topics for this year’s upcoming Presidential election with a live Season Finale in the works for November 2024.
